 Chris' World of Windsurfing
CHRIS' WORLD OF WINDSURFING

It's been a while, but I've finally found some time to make a few minor adjustments, to keep my massive fan-base happy. Notice the new background ( I chose it myself), but more annoyingly note the annoying ad that Fortune City have put on the top of the page - they could have at least asked / warned me,the cheeky barstewards!!

Up and coming features, when I work out how to create new pages, will include:

  • My ever-evolving designs for the ultimate windsurfing and surfing destination - a man-made island with bays, points, reefs and lagoons to as to cater to all levels in all possible wind and swell directions, and to give long-time stayers a way to earn orwin a living there's a casino and yacht marina, the project name is O.R.G.Y Island:Oceanic Recreation, Gambling and Yachting Island

  • A page showcasing ultimate windsurfing vehicles ( of which my converted hi-top Renault Master van is definitely one.)
Site still in labour: approximately 5 cm dilated.
The Big Question .......

One particularly big question to ponder whilst I continue getting my act together on this site, following my recent visit to France:

  • Why is kit so much cheaper in France?
  • Or more to the point, why is kit in the UK so expensive?
  • If you dont believe me check out theDecathlon site, which sells all the big brands plus their own dirt cheap but good quality 'Tribord' gear. The catalog and site only gives prices for Tribord gear, but boards are atleast#100 cheaper!!!!

Does it have anything to do with the new Jaguar parked in the owner's spot outside my local windsurfing shop?? I wonder...

Exciting holiday reviews to look forward to:
Two weeks spent on the Vendee coast,France sitting in a campervan with wife and kids waiting for the rain to stop!!( I've been now, but I havent had time to compose my thoughts - so much happened).

A solo weekend in Bridlington, waiting for the air temperature to go into positive figures (degrees Kelvin)!!

A relaxing weekend spent in the garden celebrating the mother-in-law's birthday, eye-ing the washing flapping vigorously in the pleasantly warm Force 5 breeze.

And oh so much more!!
